The Kirby Landing Marina Store offers visitors an opportunity to feed the catfish,
even by hand if you are feeling particularly adventuresome. Other amenities include
fuel, snacks and cold drinks, ice, life jackets, and bait. Minnows, crickets and
worms are available, as well as basic fishing needs, particularly crappie fishing
gear.
The lake's rich variety of game fish includes such species as largemouth, smallmouth, spotted and white bass, flathead and channel catfish, black and white crappie, and bluegill. In the Little Missouri River tail waters below the dam, rainbow trout fishing is a popular sport, as these are stocked by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
