Kirby Landing Marina is located in a sheltered cove up the Bear Creek branch of Lake Greeson within the US Army Corps of Engineers Kirby Landing Recreation Area, the largest and most popular recreation area on the Lake and in the Vicksburg District. Since its establishment, the Crump Family has owned and operated Kirby Landing Marina. In 1955, Clay K. Crump II and his young wife, Erma, relocated the original Marina from the Bear Creek Recreation Area to the Kirby Landing Recreation Area. Since 1985, Clay K. Clay and family reside on the premises for immediate assistance at any time.

Kirby Landing Marina offers a free boat-launch ramp with a courtesy dock, the Pavilion and/or the PawPaw Patch Amphitheater for gatherings, a marine-pump-out station and mobile pump-out service, a marina store, an official size volleyball court, a basketball goal, fire pit, smoker, grills, mooring for houseboats, ski boats and small boats, boat rentals, Motel, and fishing guide services. Paved access roads and parking are available on the Lake, as well as gently sloping shorelines allow for easy access to the Marina and the Lake. Patio docks are available at the outer end of the houseboat docks for sunbathing, community or family potlucks, or just visiting and watching the boaters, the sunrise or the sunset on the lake. Public restrooms are available at all the Marinas on Lake Greeson, as well as a remote floating restroom out on the lake near Point 9.
