Nestled at the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, Lake Greeson is located in Pike County about 50 miles southwest of Hot Springs, Arkansas. With over 150 miles of natural shoreline and over 7,000 Kirby Landing Marina acres of water for your fishing and boating pleasure, Lake Greeson offers the best in recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. The Lake Greeson Wildlife Management Area which encompasses US Army Corps of Engineers and timber company lands includes over 35,000 acres which are open to the public for hunting.
The lake is a nature lover's delight during all seasons. The intensely folded geology of the Ouachita Mountains is apparent in the towering vertical rock outcroppings at the Chimney Rocks. A wide variety of trees, flowering shrubs, and wildlife afford photographers and nature lovers many hours of enjoyment throughout the year. You can often see white-tailed deer and turkey along the shore.
Kirby Landing Marina is located in a sheltered cove up the Bear Creek branch of Lake Greeson within the US Army Corps of Engineers Kirby Landing Recreation Area, the largest and most popular recreation area on the Lake. Since its establishment, the Crump Family has owned and operated Kirby Landing Marina. In 1955, Clay K. Crump II and his young wife, Erma, relocated the original Marina from the Bear Creek Recreation Area to the Kirby Landing Recreation Area. Since 1985, Clay K. Crump III and his family have operated the Marina as a family oriented business, expanding the business through the construction of houseboat and boat/barge docks. Clay and family reside on the premises for immediate assistance at any time.
Kirby Landing Marina offers a free boat-launch ramp with a courtesy dock, a free marine pump-out station, a marina store, an official size volleyball court, a basketball goal, fire pit, smoker, grills, mooring for houseboats, ski boats and small boats, boat rentals, Motel and fishing guide services. Paved access roads and parking, as well as gently sloping shorelines allow for easy access to the Marina and the Lake. Patio docks are available at the outer end of the houseboat docks for sunbathing, community or family potlucks, or just visiting and watching the boaters, the sunrise or the sunset on the lake.

The Kirby Landing Marina Store offers visitors an opportunity to feed the catfish, even by hand if you are feeling particularly adventuresome. Other amenities include fuel, snacks and cold drinks, ice, life jackets, and bait. Minnows, crickets and worms are available, as well as basic fishing needs, particularly crappie fishing gear.
The lake's rich variety of game fish includes such species as largemouth, smallmouth, spotted and white bass, flathead and channel catfish, black and white crappie, and bluegill. In the Little Missouri River tail waters below the dam, rainbow trout fishing is a popular sport, as these are stocked by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
Cove Cafe is located at Kirby Landing. The Cafe is open Memorial Day thru Labor Day for breakfast and spciality sandwiches. Looking for a snack or planning lunch on the lake, we can take care of you. Enjoy a leisurely sandwich from our cafe; take it back to your boat or dine outside at the marina's picnic tables. Relax, Unwind and Enjoy your day on the lake!

Our goal is to have a 100% compliance to "No Discharge" statutes in all areas to the improved health and viability of our Lake.

Lake Greeson offers lots of secluded coves for anchoring of houseboats. Kirby Landing Marina provides 194 boat slips in a sheltered cove, of which 80 are houseboat slips with electric hook-ups and access to potable water and 114 small boat/barge slips. Patio docks are available at the outer end of the houseboat docks for sunbathing, community or family potlucks, or just visiting and watching the boaters, the sunrise or the sunset on the lake.

Our Floating Cabin offers all the comforts of home while staying on the water. Come enjoy a sunrise or sunset on the deck of your personal floating cabin. The floating cabin has its own 12' x 10' deck, two full and one twin bed plus a Futon, full kitchen with bath and shower, gas grill and deck furniture. Bring your own boat or rent one from us to explore the lake.

Kirby Landing Marina offers a pavilion and/or amphitheater free to the public on a first-come-first-serve basis. All it takes is a phone call (870.398.4434) to reserve it. They both have lights and electricity for family gatherings, musical entertainment, baby or wedding showers or weddings, just to name a few. The pavilion has six large picnic tables, and the amphitheater has benches that will seat up to 100+ people, although many people bring their lawn chairs for a more comfortable seat.
